It’s been quite a year, and some days are harder to push through than others. During these moments of difficulty, it’s important to center yourself in all the good things that ground you. For many, that’s exercise - exercising your mind, body, and soul - and welcoming those much-needed endorphins into your life. For many, we turn to the stars for the advice they swear by, which is why I’m excited to highlight Halle Berry, a celebrity whose balanced routine is one we should all try to replicate.

Meditation

Breath in the good shi-t, exhale the bullsh-t! Life’s too short to acknowledge the negative energy in our lives, and Halle’s using her platform to spread positivity and light. “My  meditative practice  is my way to remain strong and centered for myself as well as my children when things are overwhelming,” she writes on Instagram. “I hope that everyone will take a moment today to breathe - you deserve it.”

Sweat Bands

For a “360 workout,” Halle swears by her  waist slimmer: “A trainer or sweat band (when used PROPERLY as a workout tool - it’s not a corset y’all!) can make ALL the difference in your six pack journey.”

Jump Roping

The award-winning actress  burns 250 calories in just 15 minutes by jump roping. Talk about a crazy-successful cardio workout! Halle’s goal is 1,500 skips during her workout, which she breaks up into three sets of 500 skips. Once you get into a flow, Halle swears you’ll be able to do 100 skips right on cue, and you’re sure to feel the burn.

Self-Care

Halle never lets self-love fall to the wayside! The “Catwoman” star is devoted to her routine, which includes  homemade face masks that “enhances the natural glow” by brightening, tightening, and reducing fine lines. “ Things have been especially crazy, and self-care is an absolute essential right now,” Halle says of her  lockdown regimen, telling her followers that they should “really enjoy that extra time to comfort and pamper” themselves,” because they “absolutely deserve it.”

Boxing

Going for the knockout! Halle has always been adamant about her  boxing workouts, which she promises are the best full-body cardio routines you can do. “You’ll sculpt every muscle and burn major calories and fat,” she urges of the workout that has kept her fit for 10 years. “It dramatically decreases stress levels, develops hand-eye coordination, and builds confidence and discipline.”
