5 Hair accessory hacks you need to try RN

Hair accessories were massive on the catwalks this year, and the running theme is wearability. Wearing bands, clips and scarves in your hair has never been cooler – or easier. Take a look at five of our favourite ways to wear them here.

Hair bows

Seen at shows such as Rochas, Temperley London and Tory Burch, black ribbons tied into bows were big news. Super easy and affordable to copy, this is our go-to hair trend this year.

Delicate Alice bands

If pretty and feminine accessories are your jam, this will be your look of the season. All it takes is a thin metal hair band with some kind of decoration and BAM, you’re done. This looks especially gorge when paired with a non-fussy updo.

Simple hair clips

The easiest way to wear accessories is to simply pop a hair slide in. From cute, subtle clips to more extravagant designs, follow designers such as Simone Rocha for seasonal inspo.

Furry hairbands (yes, really)

This may sound a little rogue, but cute fluffy hairbands can totally look retro and cool – especially if you match the colour of your accessory to the colour of your hair. So chic.

Hair scarves

Retro styles were all over the catwalk, from vintage-inspired waves to  head-scarves such as this look at Temperley London.
