Another day, slay for our fave GLAMOURzon Bonang Matheba who took home top honours at the very prestigious 15th annual Oliver Empowerment Awards at Emperor’s Palace Convention Centre in Johannesburg last night. And, as is part of Queen B’s repertoire, she looked amazing in a custom masterpiece by the very talented Mozambican designer Taibocar.
Up against tough competition – Minnie Dlamini and Khanyi Mbau amongst them – Bonang walked away with the Top Empowered Media Personality of the year award, bedecked in the very detailed brown and gold gown. Perfect modern waves topped off her Hollywood glam look, which she excitedly posted to her social media accounts.
The Oliver Empowerment Awards is South Africa’s premier awards ceremony for leadership and innovation in empowerment and transformation, and we think Bonang rightly deserves this honour.
