Last night (2 June 2016), TV presenter and media personality Minnie Dlamini became the first South African personality to reach one million followers on Instagram!
The star joins the short list of international celebrities to reach this milestone on their social media profiles.
After hosting the PSL Awards for the 4th time on Monday evening, and preparations for the E! Africa SAMAs red carpet on Saturday evening, she has had a phenomenal week.
”I have had one of the best years of my life,” says Minnie. “This week is proof that all the hard work and effort pays off. I am grateful for the opportunities and my fans that constantly support me.”
Minnie’s Instagram strategy is simple: give your audience what they are looking for. ”Find out what works best for you on social media,” Minnie explains. “And then what works for the followers you want to attract. Then find the synergy between the two.”
