Is that an awkwardly caught photo? We thought Kim was always camera-ready.
As it turns out, our beautiful icon is not some goddess living the perfect life handed to her on a silver platter. She has struggles and concerns just like we do – earning her yet another sparkling jewel to place in the Kardashian crown that we so admire.
In a behind-the-scenes video for Australian Vogue’s cover shoot, Kim Kardashian shared, “Since I’ve become a mum I’ve figured out how to prioritise [my career] the best that I ever have. It’s definitely harder but you figure it out. I think the biggest misconception about me is probably that I don’t work hard and everything comes easy. I like to prove people wrong and just live my life and do what I do and work hard and I’m proud of that.”
Constantly in the spotlight, Kim knows that she has the whole world commenting on her every action, but does not discount others having critics too. “Everyone has critics,” she says, “I think it’s really hard to live in a world where there’s so many people judging you. I’m gonna teach my daughter to be really strong.”
With our every move recorded on social networking sites nowadays, it is true that we open ourselves up to critics, making ourselves vulnerable to the comments of others.
Kim also revealed that she is desperate to have another child but that, “it’s been more challenging to get pregnant the second time around.” We often only see the Kanye, the fame, the beautiful booty and never-ending wardrobe of wow- but Kim Kardashian is a woman just like us. And like us, there are things beyond her control.
“When you’re not planning it, it happens. It’s just how God works. And when you want it so bad, it’s not happening…” Kim says, acknowledging that we are all human after all.
