Music and fashion icon Prince Rogers Nelson, known solely as Prince, has passed away at the age of 57. This follows reports that he was hospitalised after having flu for several weeks. CNN reports that the singer was unresponsive when found in the elevator of a studio in Minnesota and was pronounced dead at 10.07 am.
