Welcome to a new month! And to my new post as GLAMOUR’s celebrity reporter-at-large.
Hope you enjoyed the last week of May (and will live it up this weekend!), cause you know I will! With the cold coming in fast and rapid, I stayed in most of last weekend, with my new “bf”: Netflix. Always great to binge watch a TV show, and I did so with the new series, Grace & Frankie which is a hilarious show staring Jane Fonda, Lilly Tomlin and Martin Sheen. But by Sunday, I had to get out of the house to brunch. Now, if there’s anything that I learnt from New Yorkers, is brunch turns into “drunch”. My friends and I decided to hit up the #BombayBrunch at the Protea Fire & Ice! Menlyn. The newly opened hotel co-hosted the soireé along with Bombay Sapphire. All the cool kids were there; fashionable and talented Tamara Dey, Zebra & giraffe front man Greg Carlin with his fiancé Keagan Green who has an awesome blog. I also met Lions rugby player Courtnall Skosane with his gorgeous girlfriend, Semone Ramsing which we proceeded to take selfies, which was totally fun. Bubbly Stevie French was there too, sipping on delicious cocktails. I absolutely loved Suzaan Heyns’ necklace, I was dying to kiss it. She is so regal and an amazing designer. I am also literally obsessed with Nomizi Mabena & DJ Doowap, they are such fashion forward ladies. Take a look at some of my favourite shots from the event below.
This weekend, I’m off to the Moët & Chandon Roland Garros event, which should be amazing!
