Tamia set to return to South Africa for a Women’s month three-city tour

Six-time Grammy Award nominee and multi-platinum selling international R&B superstar Tamia has announced her highly anticipated return to South Africa for a three-city tour this August 2026, promising fans an unforgettable celebration of timeless R&B, soulful vocals, and pure nostalgia.

The award-winning singer will bring her powerful live show to Cape Town, Durban, and Pretoria as part of what is being positioned as a Women’s Month celebration tour experience. Fans can expect an emotional journey through decades of hits that have cemented her status as one of the most beloved voices in global R&B.

Tamia will kick off the tour on 6 August at the Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town, before heading to Durban on 7 August for a performance at the Durban ICC in KwaZulu-Natal. She will close the tour on 10 August at the SunBet Arena, Time Square in Pretoria.

The announcement has already sparked major excitement among South African fans, who last saw Tamia perform in the country during her 2023 three-city tour. That visit further strengthened her deep connection with Mzansi audiences, who have long embraced her music as part of their own soundtrack of love and nostalgia.
