Tyla stunned the world with her viral single ‘Water’ which took over Tik-Tok with over billion views, making her the first South African to gain 10 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
At only 22 Tyla has won a Grammy, was an opening act for Chris Brown and is set to perform at Coachella in April. She has managed to dominate the industry without an album.
Scheduled for release on 22 March 2024 under the American record label Fax and Epic Records. Tyla’s debut album will be self-titled ‘TYLA’ with a sensational track list that includes her hit single Water, Truth or Dare, Butterflies, On and On and Water remix featuring Travis Scott.
She has also teased two songs - On My Body with a mystery feature and A.R.T a track that could possibly feature Korean Super star Lalisa Manobal known as Lisa.
Originally from South Africa, Tyla’s sound is a combination of Amapiano, Afro beats and R&B, a rare blend that has solidified her presence globally.
After announcing an International tour, Tyla shortly cancelled the dates due to an injury that gradually worsened over the past year, her fans ‘Tygers’ took to Instagram to encourage her to rest so she could come back stronger.
