Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, and Venus Williams announced as 2026 Met Gala co-Chairs

The Met Gala has officially revealed its star-studded lineup of co-chairs for 2026, and it’s a trio that embodies global influence, artistry, and timeless style. On Monday, May 4th, Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and obviously Anna Wintour, will welcome guests to the Metropolitan Museum of Art for next year’s exhibition, Costume Art, a theme that examines the intricate relationship between clothing and the body beneath. This year’s focus promises a deeper, more intimate look at fashion as both expression and architecture

.Co-chairs serve as the evening’s cultural anchors, helping shape the tone of the event, hosting the iconic stairs, and collaborating closely with The Met and Vogue on vision, guest list, and the overall creative direction. Beyoncé, returning to the Met Gala after a decade, has delivered some of the event’s most unforgettable looks, from latex Givenchy to her shimmering nude illusion gowns.

Nicole Kidman, celebrated for her elegance and cinematic presence, has graced the Gala in archival couture and custom designs that honour fashion history.

Tennis legend Venus Williams brings athletic glamour and a sharp fashion sensibility, having previously attended the Gala in bold, modern silhouettes.

Adding to the excitement, Anthony Vaccarello of Saint Laurent and actress Zoë Kravitz will co-chair the 2026 Met Gala Host Committee.They will be joined by Host Committee, with additional members including Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, Gwendoline Christie, Alex Consani, Misty Copeland, Elizabeth Debicki, Lena Dunham, Paloma Elsesser, LISA, Chloe Malle, , Teyana Taylor, Lauren Wasser, Anna Weyant, A’ja Wilson,Sam Smith,  and  Yseult, with additional committee members to be announced next year.

With this powerhouse team, Costume Art is set to become one of the Met Gala’s most anticipated, and visually arresting, installments yet.
