Luxury fashion house Balenciaga showcased their Fall/Winter 22 Haute Couture show in Paris today. This iconic brand had a bevy of unexpected beauties walk the runway in its latest creations. Kim Kardashion, Nicole Kidman, Dua Lipa and Naomi Campbell to name a few. Kim Kardashian, a longtime friend and ambassador of the brand, was a surprise addition to the show or some would say not? Since she has been seen exclusively wearing Balenciaga while out and about the last few days as well as appearing in their recent campaigns. Not forgetting her infamous MET GALA look with Creative Director Demna Gvasalia last year. Reality star Chrisitine Quinn from Selling Sunset was another unexpected surprise.
The 103yr old brand has continued to evolve and blaze a trail that has left many in its wake. Understanding the culture we live in and tapping into the zeitgeist has ensured the longevity and relevancy of the House.
Naomi Campbell graced the runway in an exquisite black ball gown with an exaggerated funnel neckline and black gloves. Many more similar looks like this were showcased and if you fancied owning one of them then you are in luck.
After the show Balenciaga officially opened its new couture store selling all the looks from the runway. It is exciting to be able to present this level of craft, creativity and Made in France savoir-faire in our historical address. – said Cédric Charbit, chief executive officer of Balenciaga.
These limited-edition pieces range from 3000 euros and upwards to 100 000 euros. Definitely not for the average consumer. Below are a few looks from the show.
