The Cannes film Festival is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated film festivals in the world. As the eyes of the world are focused on the event one can almost forget the primary function is to watch the latest international films as the glitz and glamour of the red carpet looks take center stage.
Opening night saw a host of celebrities take to the iconic red carpet, notably supermodel Naomi Campbell, Heidi Klum, oscar winning actress Meryl Streep and many more. With social media being our gateway to the event and all the behind the scenes and get ready with me content being uploaded in real time, our fevered excitement at all the red carpet fashion we get to consume is at an all time high.
Bella Hadid made a triumphant return to the festival after a few years hiatus and wowed in a sheer ruched Saint Laurent dress. Demi Moore stunned in a Schiaparelli gown and similarly, Diane Kruger in a flawless sculptural Atelier Versace creation. Sienna stuck to her well known boho aesthetic in a sheer ruffled Chloe dress but her daughter stole the show in a beautiful dress with flower detail on the front.
