After a jam-packed fall 2026 season, Tyla is ready to start anew. And what better way than to shed her skin?
The singer left her hotel in Paris last night (March 10) wearing a one-of-a-kind top by designer Simon Carle. “It is a temporary tattoo, so it will peel off like a snake sheds its skin,” Carle tells Vogue. “It’s a one-time look and can’t be worn twice.”
The ephemeral look was a true labor of love. Carle shared behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram, placing the snakeskin temporary tattoo on Tyla’s torso, and trimming it to perfection. Tyla paired the custom backless mock-neck with ultra-low-rise skinny jeans—unbuttoned!—with zipper embellishments at the pockets, and a pair of brown and electric blue DSquared2 sandals, doubling up on snakeskin with a chevron Valentino bag.
Tyla is just the latest fashion-forward celebrity to wear the up-and-coming Carle’s work. At the 2026 Sundance Film Festival, Charli xcx attended the premiere of The Gallerist in a lace trimmed translucent poncho. At the end of last year, Rosalía opted for a lacy tiered pink tutu over a tattered nude dress. In her temporary tattoo top, Tyla is the latest risk-taker to rep Simon Carle’s distinct vision.
