These Are The 3 Products I Have Been Loving!

The weather in Cape Town has been showing us flames this week and has totally been on its worst behaviour. From a full-blown storm the past weekend to scorching hot temperatures, my body can’t seem to keep up to be honest.

Amidst all of that - they say change is as good as a holiday right? Well, I’ve recently tried three new products... and to no surprise I’ve been absolutely loving it so far. It’s safe to say that now I can’t wait to welcome the bright season with all its newness.

THE BEST REFRESHER

I must admit, I’m not really a fan of ciders but when I saw Baobab in this cider had me intrigued! A big part of me just wanted to crack one open immediately - but I made sure I stashed the 4-pack in the freezer for a day or so first. Let me just tell you... When I eventually cracked it open after a long work-week there was nothing more satisfying that quenched my thirst.

The African Sundowner Baobab flavoured cider is slightly tart with a balanced sweetness and has a fresh apple aroma with sundowner Apple and Tropical Fruit flavour notes. The majestic baobab tree is an icon of the African continent representing the “The Tree of Life”. I literally was hoping that the cider would not end. It was a tug of war in my household for that last cider and on that note I am thoroughly looking forward to Cape Town’s weather clearing up properly and being able to enjoy many of the other Loxtonia variables. And to op it off, Loxtonia Cider’s African Sundowner won Gold at The Global Cider Masters 2023 hosted this July in London. If that doesn’t speak for itself then I don’t know what will.

HANDBAG ESSENTIAL

There is something about scents that has me in a total chokehold this week. When the latest Thameen fragrance landed on my desk this week, I was breathing in every chanting fragrant memory. From that much-needed brunch with my girlfriends, to my wedding day and other momentous occasions that followed all filled into one bottle.

This fragrance is part of the citrus, floral and gourmand family with top notes of bergamot, bitter orange and ginger (one of my favourite ingredients) the heart is made up of Tuberosem Saffron and Honey and the base notes are made up of Walnut, Milk Accord, Vanilla and Tobacco. The reimagined Cologne Elixir with more faceted nuances evokes memorable sillage and seductive longevity without any doubt.

BODY BOOST

I seriously get lost in the smell alone of this body wash. The decadent burst of freshness makes me want to take the most extended showers and I have to stop myself from drenching my shower sponge in too much product because let me tell you the scent will leave you pouring that entire bottle all over your body!

You’ll be pleased to know that your body will be left feeling absolutely nourished thanks to that luxurious lather. The hydrated oil complex is packed with only antioxidant-rich goodness such as avocado, kiwi and orange oils to ensure a fresh, glowing effect! And did I mention that lingering skin-quenching scent? Hmmm, enough said.
