Season 2 of Young, Famous & African just dropped and fans are gooped!

Fans camped on the Netflix website, waiting for the new season of Young, Famous&African to drop, and just a few episodes into the show, the cast members are topping the trend list for different reasons.

Season 2 of the highly anticipated reality show, Young, Famous & African dropped at 10am in SA, and the social streets are abuzz!!!

New cast members include our very own Media Personality, Bonang Matheba, affectionately known as “Queen B”, Ghanaian musician, Fantana and Namibian TV producer and entrepreneur, Luis Munana. Their introduction to the show has brought a refreshing dynamic with a dash of drama.

The show has also sparked interesting conversations on Twitter ranging from Nadia Nakai’s relationship with her late boyfriend, AKA, with tweeps noting how happy she was at the time. It seems fans also couldn’t wait see how Bonang and Nadia would relate to each other on the show considering that the two were once friends and both dated AKA.

Another talking point was Nigerian model and actress, Annie Macaulay-Idibia’s controversial marriage to Nigerian singer, 2Baba. Several publications reported that the musician had another baby out of wedlock. Both Annie Idibia and 2Baba were part of the S1 Young, Famous&African cast where we were given insight into their marital woes. A candid Annie, revealed that 2Baba had fathered multiple children outside of their marriage.

Cast members were divided as they tried to get to the bottom of these allegations. Things got rather heated on episode 4 when Nadia Nakai tried to engage 2Baba at an intimate dinner organised by Annie. Andile Ncube tried to contain the situation but 2Baba couldn’t stop himself from embarrassing his wife over his misogynistic views.

In other news, Naked DJ and Kayleigh seem to be in a good place and we’re here for it. Also, can we talk about the studio session between Fantana and Diamond that led to his abode?

What we won’t do is spill all the tea! We do have a question though...are there enough seats to accommodate Khanyi Mbau, Zari the Boss Lady and Queen B or will their egos collide? Stream Young, Famous & African on Netflix to find out.

In the interim, these are some of the reactions on Twitter.
