It's been over a week since we hosted GLAMOUR's Most GLAMOURous Awards 2026, and honestly? We're still thinking about the fashion.
Held at the stunning Divine Sunset Venue on 25 July, this year's awards brought together South Africa's biggest style stars, creatives, entertainers and tastemakers for a night dedicated to celebrating the people shaping fashion and culture. The 2026 edition embraced the theme "Fashion is Fantasy," inviting guests to leave reality behind and step into a world where creativity knew no limits.
And they certainly understood the assignment. From dramatic silhouettes and ethereal gowns to sculptural tailoring, dazzling embellishments and head-turning accessories, the red carpet became a runway where individuality took centre stage. Some guests leaned into fairytale glamour, others embraced futuristic fashion, while many paid homage to African craftsmanship through bold prints, textures and innovative design.
What makes the GLAMOUR's Most GLAMOURous Awards so special is that there are no rules—only the freedom to express yourself. This year's theme encouraged guests to dream bigger, dress bolder and remind us that fashion is more than what we wear; it's storytelling, imagination and self-expression wrapped into one unforgettable look.
As expected, there was no shortage of standout moments. From statement gowns that floated across the carpet to impeccably tailored suits and accessories that deserved their own spotlight, every arrival brought a fresh interpretation of fantasy. It was maximalism at its finest, proving that South African fashion continues to push boundaries while celebrating creativity in all its forms.
Now comes the difficult part—choosing favourites. While every guest brought something unique to the red carpet, a few looks have stayed on our mood boards long after the lights went down.
Here are some of the looks we simply can't stop thinking about.
