South African Fashion Week is officially back!

Following a brief hiatus dedicated to refreshing the brand's vision and strengthening its significant platform for South African designers, a highly exciting and anticipated announcement has confirmed that the 2026 season will commence. This return is being powered by a host of exciting new partnerships, ensuring a bigger and more impactful event than ever before.

The key sponsors driving the 2026 season include: Primedia’s 94.7 and 702, JC Le Roux, Magnum, Carlton Hair and NARS Cosmetics.

During its strategic pause, SAFW delivered two targeted digital campaigns, including a key October rollout that extended designer collections through curated content and sustained engagement. The campaign achieved strong visibility, with an average AVE of approximately R1.27 million per designer.

South African Fashion Week (SAFW) has unveiled an exciting change for this year's runway presentations, securing a dynamic new space to host the annual showcase of South Africa's finest design talent. The prestigious event will move to a sophisticated new location in Hyde Park, promising an elevated and immersive experience for attendees, media, and buyers. The highly anticipated fashion week is scheduled to take place over four days, running from Wednesday, 22nd April, to Saturday, 25th April.

The official show programme has been released, confirming an exciting and diverse lineup of established and emerging South African designers. The schedule is packed with runway shows, showcasing the latest SS26 collections and reinforcing SAFW's commitment to presenting a platform that is both culturally rich and commercially viable for participating design houses.

Limited tickets for all collections are available on Quicket.com.
