This festive season, Ocean Basket, South Africa’s beloved seafood restaurant, is making waves with their latest menu specials, offering consumers the ultimate in deliciousness and affordability. Renowned across the country for their fresh, perfectly prepared seafood, welcoming family atmosphere, and exceptional value, the brand is once again ensuring that every South African consumer can indulge in mouthwatering, quality dishes without straining their holiday budget.
Ocean Basket has always been synonymous with bringing the bounty of the ocean to the family table, and this year’s festive offerings perfectly embody that commitment. They’ve curated a selection of their most popular plates and exciting new combinations, all priced to ensure a joyful dining experience for everyone.
The Glamour team was invited to experience these new festive specials, and we can state with complete confidence that the experience was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we were seated, the vibrant, energetic atmosphere of the restaurant contributed to the overall sense of celebration. Our collective verdict was unanimous: we were not disappointed and left thoroughly satisfied, having enjoyed a variety of their offerings that was both substantial and expertly prepared. With a variety of enticing options to choose from—The Summer wave platter as well as the Seafood Trio and soda special to name a few—we truly were spoilt for choice, finding it difficult to select just one dish from the tempting menu, so we chose to try them all. The portion sizes were generous, and the quality of the ingredients shone through, proving that affordability does not mean compromising on an exceptional dining experience.
Included in their festive lineup is the 13 piece sushi special which is just enough to satisfy till your next platter. The Reel Love platter with a variety of prawns, hake, calamari paired with chips and rice was a firm favourite for the affordable price of R145. Paired with the delicious seafood was the Ocean Basket bubbles, a new and exciting addition to their beverage menu.
With a variety of specials to choose from you are guaranteed to leave satisfied and planning your next trip back.
