As someone who loves fashion and who avidly follows international fashion trends, I inevitably covet the latest IT bag. Unfortunately, I can't always afford one...What's a girl to do? Shop for similar alternatives, of course. Here are some of the IT bags on my radar, but at a budget friendly cost. With this in mind we have searched for some really great options for you to invest in.
When selecting your next handbag, there are several essential criteria that must be met.
What is the occasion?
Will it fit all my essentials?
Does it match with items in my wardrobe?
Can I afford it?
Everyday bags: YSL and Bottega Veneta have released some of the most coveted bags of the season. They're very large, can fit everything but the kitchen sink bag, is the perfect staple for your everyday "work" bag. These options are great as you can easily slide your laptop in. And as a mom I most likely will have something that my kid asked me to hold and forgot to take back.
Special Occasion bags: The Loewe Flamenco bag has been around for a while but still remains very popular amongst the fashion crowd especially since it comes in a variety of sizes. For a special occasion I would definitely invest in a smaller size. The Alaia Le Teckel bag named after the Daschund with its sausage like proportions and elongated handle has been a staple on the fashion circuit. The classic Gucci under the arm shoulder bag hits all the right notes for a simple but classic design.
Below are some of our fave bags for a fraction of the cost of the original ones but equally as chic.
