Vault on Bree was host to the final First Thursday soiree with G Star and Wanda Lephoto

Vault On Bree, Cape Town’s newest creative third space, continued to champion the city’s most exciting talent. Built for collaboration and South African-led storytelling, it quickly became a meeting point where local creativity set the tone.

That spirit came through in its partnership with Wanda LePhoto. After performing at the venue’s opening night, Wanda returned as the first artist to create a signature piece for the space — a clear signal of the future-forward collaborations that Vault On Bree remained committed to.

Against this backdrop, G-Star closed its 2025 calendar with a final First Thursday takeover. As Vault On Bree’s first activation partner, this year-end moment marked G-Star’s second and final appearance inside the space for 2025. Carrying the energy through the night, the lineup kicked off with Jimm & Tonic, followed by Mila Rose, and closed with a high-energy set from DJ Loyd and Sir Vincent.

The closing night was shaped through the lens of Trevor Stuurman and The Manor Africa, who captured the season’s last looks with a distinctly global and street-style perspective. Throughout the year, The Manor Africa chronicled key G-Star moments — from denim-focused content to the debut of the Manor Denim Issue celebrating G-Star’s Anatomic Denim. Their return brought the story full circle and closed a year defined by culture, art, and collaboration.

Guests in attendance were the who's who of the fashion and entertainment scene. Pamela Mtanga, Jo-anne Strauss, Jamie-Lee Domburg, just to name a few, celebrated the last first Thursday event for 2025.
