Beyoncé celebrates 20 Years of B’Day with deluxe edition featuring unreleased tracks

Beyoncé is opening the vault to celebrate 20 years of B’Day, with a deluxe anniversary edition featuring previously unreleased songs and Spanish-language versions of some of the album’s biggest hits.

The news was shared by Beyoncé’s label, Parkwood Entertainment, announcing that the 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition will be released digitally on September 4, Beyoncé’s birthday. The expanded album takes the original 14 tracks to 27 songs, giving fans a deeper look into the era that helped cement Beyoncé’s solo career.

Among the never-before-released tracks are “My First Time,” “Can I Watch You,” “Welcome to Hollywood,” “Lost Yo Mind,” “Creole” and “Back Up.” The collection also includes Spanish versions of songs including “Irreplaceable (Irreemplazable),” “Listen (Oye),” “Beautiful Liar (Bello Embustero)” and “Get Me Bodied (Mueve el Cuerpo).”

Released in 2006, B’Day was Beyoncé’s second solo studio album, following her 2003 debut Dangerously in Love. While it did not launch her solo career, it became an important chapter in establishing her as a global solo superstar, producing hits such as “Déjà Vu,” “Ring the Alarm,” “Get Me Bodied” and “Irreplaceable.”

For collectors, the anniversary release will also be available as a four-LP Bayou Blue vinyl edition, complete with a 60-page booklet and collectible art prints. Priced at $149.98 (approximately R2,393), the limited-edition set gives fans a physical piece of the B’Day era to add to their collections.Two decades later, Beyoncé is giving the BeyHive a chance to hear what was left behind in the vault — and revisit an album that remains a defining moment in her early solo career.
